@lexintothenex It's my least favourite but by no means is it bad, story-wise I love it. Personally I'm just underwhelmed by the minigames and frustrated with the little handholdy parts of the story, like I know what we're doing next game please stop.

There's also some intricacies with what Pokemon to use at what time, when to switch them in and stuff like that but as someone who doesn't play, I can't really explain that stuff. But it's definitely a more cerebral game than it appears at first glance

@JackJigglesmith @Mermaid_Dork From an outsider perspective it's mindgames. You got these super strong moves you can use but you can only block 2 of them, so when's the best time to protect yourself? If you do, your opponent might use a weaker move to call your bluff and hit you with a strong move later
