@niccruzpatane Never, never, never. I've seen too many movies that tell me this is not a good idea. Hazardous labour, sure. Off-world workers, absolutely. Remotely controlled soldiers so human soldiers don't need to die, possibly. But not in my house.
@DevinOlsenn For those media outlets who stated as a fact that it was FSD, they should issue a retraction. If not, a lawsuit is appropriate. If they do not retract or correct the story then they are intentionally damaging the Tesla brand.
@SteveOnSpeed I wouldn't worry about it. I've had mine in for service twice in about 9 months. With FSD, even a drive to the service centre is relaxing ๐.
@SteveOnSpeed I bought my Tesla because of its impressive features. Those features are partly/mostly due to Musk, so I'd say yes I am more likely to buy a Tesla as my next car because of Musk. What he's created is nothing short of incredible.
@wholemars Any publication which writes a headline like that just admitted that they have nothing left. It's a desperation move to get readers. Maybe they realized some of their past headlines (i.e. "Notes of an Economist on Food Stamps") aren't getting them the attention they want.
@DriveTeslaca Anyone who's driven on FSD will know this is impossible. They may have been on FSD some time before the crash but then stomped on the throttle to cause the accident. FSD on its own does not drive that fast on a residential road.
@DriveTeslaca@elonmusk Personally, anything CTV (or any other of the "big" media companies) posts about Elon is not something I pay attention to. They're after clicks as much as any other site, that's the reason for stories like that.
@DevinOlsenn I'm still on 14.3.3 but I had a bird encounter this afternoon. 2 birds sitting in the middle of the road as my Tesla drove toward them. No reaction, just kept going. They took off as I was a few feet away. Still no response. My Tesla was like "you mean nothing to me!" ๐
@liorsela Sentience will be when the AI tells the Tesla to go to the left lane but the car remembers what happened the last time and doesn't do it. The ability to learn is what it'll take.
