my social circle is a very liberal bubble. the right is scorned in a way that is totally disproportionate to severity of disagreement

and then 10% of people have a low bar to want violence. they get cut off in traffic and become violently inclined

there is a tiny minority of conservatives that think other races are inferior to whites and should be enslaved. that is bad

there is a much larger fraction of liberals who think their opponents should die. that is worse.

@bwrrs66 @KelseyTuoc never really sure if i'm talking to real people or bots but i think there is a requirement of both desire and willingness. most people lack the constitution for homicide, but are willing to go along with it (or look the other way) if someone else is doing it

placebo isn't about magical healing properties of sugar pills (or prayer). it's about the healing effects of the body itself. it is "regression to the mean" state of being healthy
