Sadden to read that the legendary and pioneering Spanish naturalist "Suso" Garzón passed away. I was incredibly lucky to follow him during seasonal sheep migration for a couple of days when I was 5. Suso himself took this picture of me!
@NickdeVrij@hashemkoohy Regarding confounders: we explored these a bit in Supplementary figure 3 (age, tumor purity and necrosis) of the peer-reviewed paper. Yet, it definitely requires more experiments to address how much "confounding" noise can the neural network handle https://t.co/283wuCN2XZ

Last but not least, this was a wonderful project to participate and a truly collaborative effort together with @viki_schu, @LiangYuhu, Valentina Sora, Thilde Terkelsen and Anders Krogh (lead). We live at @ucph_heads and @MLSectionUCPH
