Habitat baseline surveys with @NpwsProject and @agriculture_ie on the wonderful Inishbofin in Co. Galway. Many thanks to all the farmers and locals who were extremely accommodating. Some great habitat recorded and room for improvement in other areas.
This is a wonderful video and a great reminder of why it's really so important to keep dogs on leads at the minute - those females and chicks are vulnerable! #lovebofin
This summer remember to #LoveThisPlace#LeaveNoTrace while enjoying the spectacular beaches, scenic walks & lush countryside around #Ireland. Dispose of litter responsibly, pick up after dogs & don’t light campfires/BBQs unless permitted. @LeaveNoTraceIrl

A tour through a cracking corncrake habitat on Inishbofin in Co. Galway. Calling males gone a little quiet now but the females and chicks will do will in a space like this. Incredible plant diversity and great vegetation structure too. Hopping with insects. 😍
