The first long sentence for participation in the #Januaryprotests was given to Kazybek #Kudaibergenov - 16.5 y, then to 15 years in prison was given to Nursultan #Isayev.Terms of administrative arrests also increased. Marat #Zhylanbayev was arrested for 20 days.(#AlgaKazakhstan)

After all, in January 2022, 6 people were killed in torture. Without any evidence, a criminal case under 5 articles was fabricated against my husband. As a result, Kazybek was sentenced to 17 years in prison.

Of the 18 rally participants, Nursultan #Isayev was sentenced to 15 years. Kazybek #Kudaibergenov was convicted for 16 years in a trumped-up headline case. A parallel trial took place in #Taldykorgan. There the policemen who tortured 28 detainees were sentenced to 3-4 years.
