Greatest run of all time. Beat our biggest rivals twice. Once to end the season for the #1 seed and again in the playoffs. Then avenged the 2015 SB. In Levi’s.
17-3. Season differential of +246. 3 losses by a total of 9 pts.
Best team in the NFL. World champions.
Go Hawks.
The NFL quickly collected a fine for the dunk celebration, then used those same images for promotion.
The Offensive Player of the Year was turned into a comedy segment with Druski, minimizing an award earned through elite performance and hard work.
NFL Honors never acknowledged the poor representation of one of the league’s top individual awards.
The “prestigious” ceremony didn’t even air the pre-recorded acceptance speech.
After months to prepare and ship the award, the only offensive player selected received a Defensive Player of the Year trophy.
At some point, professionalism, respect, and attention to detail should matter.
Red blue variation. We’re all on Noah’s Ark with the world. Everybody gets a private choice. You have 1 hr to talk, text, call people, no twitter
There are enough life rafts for everybody to jump off and survive. But the boat requires 51% of people to stay on to not sink and die
Fascinating experiment, but really it comes down to whether there are people in your life incapable of choosing red. Would you actively risk their lives?
I personally see the logic of red, but know my wife/mom couldn’t and therefore I choose to die with them/humanity if so.
Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.
Would compare it to 4th downs
By starting to go for it on 4th and strategizing more, you can begin trying to maximize points. It’s a risk, but odds says it should pay off (max draft value)
Or play it safe, always kick (draft who you want whenever and bank on Shanahan coaching)
#49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said Indiana RB Kaelon Black was the second-highest-rated RB on their board (implying Seahawks 1st-round pick Jadarian Price was not).
Here’s his explanation for why they loved him so much, via @RichEisenShow:
When Kyle states black was 2nd RB and stribling being 1st on some teams boards, it sounds like team targets but not necessarily best player.
I.e. Love is top 5 pick, so not considered. So price #1 black #2
His explanations implies heavy coaching influence, not GM maxing value

You won't find a better behind-the-curtain explanation of how teams think about the #NFLDraft than from the @49ers head coach — this was awesome:

If I were a GM I wouldn’t even be comparing my board to a consensus. That’s small game.
I’d have my staff put together 31 other boards with a mock GM for each team updating it in real time.
@BuckyBrooks Still hypocritical even if point #3. Everybody knows grades are a joke, but all of a sudden back it with data and it’s now being labeled as an unfair practice? How else are fans supposed to push accountability on franchises? Just seems like a copout for better assessment metrics
I think this is the new norm for us. Positional need is likely exacerbated by a new OC. Most of our offseason capital will be spent on the Off. maintaining success will be dependent on the continual development and upkeep of defense from Mike Mac.
