This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. Do you know the Conservative party under Kemi Badenoch intend to oppose the ban on hunting wildlife. Badenoch recently attended the Heythrop Hunt fundraising Point to Point to support fox hunting.

Our wildlife are not safe in her hands.

Here she is pictured with notorious hunt thug Ollie Dale, who assaulted a female hunt sab in November 2024 for which he received a conditional caution. He was further charged with three offences of illegal hunting, including at least one fox kill.

He was subsequently let off the Hunting Act charges, proving once again that the Hunting Act fails to secure justice for our wildlife, and perfectly demonstrates why a real and effective ban - which Badenoch intends to oppose - is desperately needed.

Badenoch would have - or should have - been briefed about this, but chose to meet and have her picture taken with this violent wildlife killer, anyway.

Despite a 23% decline in European Turtle Dove numbers the Maltese government has Ok-ed hunting 1500 of the birds in the 2026 Spring hunting season but given the popularity for illegal hunting the actual death toll will be much higher. EU appears to be powerless to stop this

Three men have been charged following an investigation into a hunt, police say.

Ross Cordery, 45, from Highbridge, Wayne Greggory, 48, of Taunton, and James Parish, 31, from Uffculme in Devon, have been charged with hunting a wild mammal with dogs under the Hunting Act 2004.

They will appear at Taunton Magistrates' Court on 20 April.

The charges follow an investigation by Avon and Somerset Police into a planned event by The Vale of Taunton and Banwell Harriers Hunt in Chilton Trinity on 26 November.
