'The Unknown Warriors' (2006) is a collection of WWII veteran's views on modern Britain gathered via newspaper ad. So what did WWII veterans think of the 2006 UK? They hated it; 134 responses were negative vs only 6 positive (plus 31 N/A and 13 neutral). Excerpts below.
@Tyloran568@HMBohemond The old Broadside was just a Crisis kit with some white metal parts that you glued on it: feet, arms and a bit that converted the jet pack to a power pack.
@m0pan_40k Both IoM and Tau want the average Joe (J'Oe?) to work as hard for them as possible. Ethereals are just wise enough to know that a content, rested, well-fed worker is more productive than an abused slave.
@MAttank88@HashionDiscord People using "fascism" to describe any autocracy. Or at worst anything they dislike is one of my pet peeves. Honestly... no faction in 40k follows fascism as described by Mussolini and Gentile.
@_Plac3_hold3r@shas_kais@HughElMariscal The faction itself is OK.
For some reason though it attracts the worst kinds of fans.
Yes, even when compared to Naruto-running weebs who play Tau, smug smartasses who play Eldar and IRL-stinky Nurgle players.
@damienmccuin@Chainsword40k AdMech use Galvanic weaponry, which is described as using electromagnetism to accelerate metal projectiles.
Also, they use Magnarail weapons (Votan use Magnacoil), but those are somewhat rare (only unit using them I could find is the Tech-Priest Manipulus).
@SJaykobb@AustinJtodd Tau not having artillery feels so weird...
I mean there is the Super heavy suit... still. Did it not occur to anyone to just take ONE of these guns and stick it on a modified Devilfish?
