@SandieBlickem Yes- that was their shop in Kensington Church Street, a favourite of my then girlfriend (1969 or so). Biba then moved to a huge former department store in Ken High Street and expanded. There at least they had comfy seating for bored males whilst the ladies shopped!

@markrwilliamson The site has been in University and College ownership for 100s of years and they must be allowed to decide the best use of their assets. The Vet School has been under criticism from the National Vet training overseer.
@markrwilliamson@RedSpudd You can’t just plant and hope saplings will thrive. They need lots of TLC for the first few years. The Highways Agency planted thousands of of trees on the A14 route between Brampton Hut and Cambridge and at least 90%, probably more, have died from neglect…….
