WHAT IS THE ♻️FUTURE ♻️ FOR PACKAGING?

Packaging companies are increasingly exploring alternatives to traditional paper-based packaging such as: hemp, coconut husks, wheat straw, palm leaves, mango leaves, cornstarch, mycelium (mushroom roots), cassava, milk proteins, citrus peels, crustacean shells, bamboo, reclaimed ocean plastic.........

🌲🌳🍀While paper is biodegradable and recyclable, it has environmental downsides:

❎Deforestation: paper production relies heavily on trees which take years to grow.

❎High Water & Energy Usage: pulp and paper mills consume large amounts of water and electricity.

❎Chemical pollution: bleaching and treatment processes can release harmful chemicals into the environment.

🔔HEMP offers unique environmental advantages: sustainable, grows rapidly, absorbs CO2, low input crop, regenerates soil, high yield, resistant to mould and UV light and hemp cellulose can be converted into biodegradable plastics.
