Roads & Buildings, Gujarat has floated tenders for 8-laning of Ahmedabad–Mehsana Road (SH-41) under DBFOMT at ₹1,894 crore, including a 6.1 km elevated corridor through Kalol.
A greenfield alignment with a proper Kalol bypass would have been a better long-term solution.
WELCOME HOME, HEROES!
You journeyed beyond horizons
where only dreams had reached before.
You carried the hopes of humanity
farther than ever in history.
Because of you,
millions didn’t just watch -
we traveled with you.
Your courage has brought us closer
to the Moon… and to our future.
This is not just a return - it is the beginning of a new era...
• Mumbai spent ₹6 Crore of taxpayers’ money on a “Musical Road.”
• Within weeks, BMC had to partially shut it after complaints about noise.
• This is how taxpayer money gets wasted: first a gimmick, then a grand launch, then public backlash, then shutdown, then another study.
• The public pays for the experiment. The officials behind it face nothing.
• In India, failed vanity projects are funded by taxpayers, not by the people who approve them. 🙏
