-Pivoting effectively on both feet
-Using proper footwork to help sell dribbling moves
These drills will show your players how to use footwork effectively in all aspects of offensive play - shooting, dribbling, post play, as well as catching & passing.
These 7 drills teach you how to train your players to:
-Stop drives on balance and pivot with poise
-Finish off 2 feet with proper footwork
-Use their feet to shift a defender before making a change of direction dribble move
-Handle pressure without panicking by using proper pivots
-Catch the ball not facing the hoop and quickly pivot to shoot on balance
-Attack the rim with various footwork depending on how they are being guarded
-Shoot with 1-2 footwork, allowing them to smoothly step into their shot

When asked for an under-taught aspect of the game, many coaches answer, “footwork.” By implementing these drills, that won’t be the case for your team.
Instead, you’ll end up with players who can confidently use great footwork to navigate any situation they encounter!
