I’m proud to finally present my latest Gauge 1 replica - the Buffet Car model seen in “Henry and the Wishing Tree”! I always loved how this particular coach deviated from the standard carriage design, with window bars and an odd door layout. Really pleased at how it turned out!
One last treat. Ever curious about the fights I had with the censors on Gravity Falls? I probably shouldn't share this buttttt here are some REAL NOTES from DISNEY S&P and my REAL REPLIES. You are not prepared #10YearsOfGravityFalls
Seeing that fate wanted emily dead, I guess it’s time to put her on the back burner and work on my favorite female tank engine. Upgraded and updated measurements from @IsaacM6991 and @gauge1sodor, @jamostrainos put together a perfect Rosie. @SodorRyModeler that blue is tempting👀
Here’s a weird one, we managed to grab the original Marklin Bill and Ben chassis used from series 2 to 9. The actual models with newer CNC chassis are in Japan. These are cut down from the BR80 chassis using the original wheel spacing. We’ll be getting measurement photos soon
Here's the sad James sculpt! I made it in clay, then cast a resin duplicate to paint for the final copy. I love creating faces for James, his expressions are so exaggerated. Hope you all enjoy!
Special shout-out to Thomas model maker Jeremy King, who very kindly volunteered at short notice to get Duncan and the coaches ready for display this weekend at Basingstoke! This included touch ups to the original paintwork, repairs to the side rods and 2 replica coach roofs.
Here’s my Gauge 1 Thomas repaint reveal. He has a more accurate paint job, fixed cab windows and port holes, accurate running board, shinny wheels, removed back lining, and an overall HIT era vibe. (I will make many more posts thanking everyone who helped along the way🤝)
From a 1995 'Entertainment Tonight' news story -- Here's some behind the scenes of Thomas series 4. Previously unseen, I believe.

Yesterday an amazing crew of people finished shooting “Better Call Saul” in Albuquerque, NM. It began in 2014, with great writing always leading the charge, and despite challenges of all kinds, our energy and care never flagged. I am honored to have been part of it.
