Congratulations to our DPhil student @IsaacSWalton!
Isaac won the Judge’s prize at @Oxford_MRC_DTP for speedily presenting his research about modelling ZIC1 craniosynostosis in mice - in under 3 minutes ⏱️‼️
Who says messing around on iMovie as a kid doesn’t come in handy later in life..!
Honoured to have gotten the @Oxford_MRC_DTP Judge’s prize for my 3-minute research competition video summarising our Lab’s efforts to model ZIC1-associated craniosynostosis in mice 🐭🧬
Congratulations to our students @grace_meaker and @IsaacSWalton, who both won awards at the Oxford MRC Doctoral Training Partnership Symposium (@Oxford_MRC_DTP) earlier today.

Our group are away from the hospital today for the annual @RDMOxford day!
If you’re attending be sure to stop by our DPhil student @IsaacSWalton’s poster on mouse modelling of ZIC1-associated craniosynostosis 🐭🧬
At the Wilkie Lab in Oxford, every day is #RareDiseaseDay as we continue to research the genetics of #Craniosynostosis, a rare skull condition
From FGFR2 to PRRX1 twenty-eight years later, the hunt for causative genes of Craniosynostosis in our group never stops!
Calling all rare disease researchers and clinicians who have a variant of uncertain significance... 🧬
