That time at the beginning of the war against Iran when an unarmed Iranian ship was invited to take part in an Indian naval exercise alongside the United States.
Its sailors were welcomed on land and paraded before the president as a gesture of cooperation.
Then, at the last moment, the United States abruptly withdrew from the exercise,only to turn around and torpedo the very ship it had just stood beside.

What followed was even more grotesque.
After attacking an unarmed vessel, the US refused to rescue the sailors it had thrown into the sea, abandoning them to drown.
The grim work of recovering bodies was left to the Sri Lankan Navy.

This wasn’t warfare,it was treachery of the most disgraceful kind: an ambush carried out under the pretense of diplomacy, followed by a cold refusal to show even the most basic human decency to the dying.
It would represent a collapse of every norm that supposedly governs civilized conduct at sea.

And yet, instead of outrage, much of the American media response has been indifference or rationalization.
The bombing of a girls’ school is brushed aside; talk of carpet-bombing Tehran is floated as if it were just another policy option.
When atrocities are normalized and cruelty is laundered into “strategy,” the line between reporting and complicity begins to disappear.

An Israeli court has acquitted Israeli settler Yona Schreiber, a resident of the occupied West Bank settlement of Peduel, of charges related to the late April assault on a Christian nun in Jerusalem's Old City.

This happened during Morsi's rule in Egypt. When the blessed Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood assumed power, Egyptians not only restored relations with Iran after decades, but he also allowed the IRGC to pass arms, funds and personnel into Gaza, including Shahid Soleimani.

During this period many Iranian military and civilian personnel went to Gaza to aid the Palestinians. In fact, some of the heavy missiles Hamas fired in the 2023 war were those Iran gave them in the early 2010s.

It was precisely this high-level collaboration by Morsi with Iran that set off red alarms for the Jews, Saudis and Americans, eventually leading to the coup in Egypt. As a matter of fact, some of the charges brought against Morsi in the Egyptian mock court were his role in facilitating Iranian arms transfers to Gaza through the Egyptian/Gaza tunnels.
