RAM doesn't do anything for PCVR, but the processor does, as it speeds up the decoding time from the video stream (which still happens using a wire).

@ShadowriverVR @Savivrc @HardwareSteam My fault. By SteamVR app, I was referring to the Steam Link app you can download on VR headsets, not the SteamVR client.
The Steam Link app doesn't allow you to use the store, but the Frame doesn't use that app for it's functionality, and has Steam directly built
-in.

@Savivrc @HardwareSteam You can't access it directly in the SteamVR app currently, but the Frame is directly running SteamOS, meaning the store is directly accessible through the OS, not needing to be accessed through the app.

@fanboychecking @Pirat_Nation I'm aware, but as noted in the very link you posted, that comes at a markup compared to Valve's official prices, which also goes into why it makes no sense to take seriously compared to an actual Steam listing or official noted retailer from Valve (like the Komodo store in Japan)

@chrisprice @thelinemain @phoronix The controller is longer on the vertical side to allow a person to switch their positioning to focus on the trackpads rather than the sticks, and the back button amount allow for all 4 face button actions to be accessible. Joy-cons are small and cannot be adjusted like that.

i'm glad this is essentially able to take the place of the Quest Pro, since that is discontinued.
