@percevalko so in case of turnabout sisters I had to counteract this by inserting new drums that sound similar to the original ones. Thanks to another phenomenon that I like to refer to as the "merging of similar sounds" that allowed me to "pitch the drums back down" in a sense.

random fun fact: for the key shift in turnabout sisters theme (in the turnabout sisters' medley) I had to manually insert some drums because shifting a piece up by that much essentially "butchers" some of its elements. But hey, I don't think there is a "rule" that forbids that :p

@percevalko drums are still made out of a bunch of frequencies, in that case they are not much different from instruments (although there is less of a clearly audible base tone). If you pitch up everything that will also affect the tonal qualities of the drums.

I have always been interested to make "covers by unconventional means" (e.g. the undertale "a capellas") and I want to make more of those in the future - not undertale specifically but in general. Will definitely continue making mashups though as I am still enjoying making them.

As I am getting close to writing my Bachelor Thesis in Linguistics, that means that my time and mental resources to work on new videos will be limited for the next couple of months. That means, that there will be less uploads (but there will still be one once in a blue moon)

But recently, I decided to redo the entire project with some additional remixes that didn't exist back then and my better understanding about mash-ups and music in general and at last, it turned into something that I actually like quite a lot.

This project goes faaaar back .. and with that I mean as far as the assistant medley from march 2017, where I first picked up the idea to do a Turnabout Sisters' Medley. But back then, I wasn't satisfied with the result so it never went online.
