Why do many Africans still struggle to use crypto for everyday needs?
Because buying crypto is easy.
Turning it into money you can actually spend is the hard part.
Here's how Ridima is making XRP more useful for everyday users across Africa @myridima@XRPL_AF
The XRPL Africa Campus Tour Ilorin was more than just an event, it was proof that collaboration can spark real impact.πβ¨
To our sponsors and partners, thank you for believing in the vision, supporting innovation, and helping us create a space where students, builders, and Web3 enthusiasts could connect, learn, and grow.
Your support helped make meaningful conversations, new opportunities, and fresh onboarding into the XRP Ledger ecosystem possible.
We truly appreciate @Yellow, @XAODAOLLC, and @theBlocksSummit for being part of this journey with us. π
Together, weβre building something bigger for Africa.
Banks are closed today, the XRP Ledger is open for business settling payments globally as we speak in few seconds.
Global 24/7 access, built in features, no middlemen, censorship resistant and low cost transactions and infrastructure.
Reminder this will change society forever.
XRPL Africa and @unibencrypto paid a strategic visit to the Acting Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Development at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria, Dr. Olaye, and also the head of department computer engineering Dr. Isi Edeoghon , to discuss opportunities for collaboration focused on empowering the next generation of African developers.
Our conversation centered around creating more opportunities for students and developers through blockchain education(XRPL), AI innovation, developer training, research collaboration, technical communities, and hands-on exposure to the endless possibilities within the XRPL ecosystem.
We also shared the vision behind XRPL Africa, building a thriving African blockchain community where young people are not just users of technology, but creators, builders, innovators, and global contributors. From campus tours to developer bootcamps, educational programs, and ecosystem support, we remain committed to driving adoption and technical growth across Africa.
We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration will unlock for developers, innovators, and the broader tech ecosystem within and beyond the university community. The future is collaborative, and this is only the beginning.π
