@casualtysrus Yes! Suspect I know your answer but imagine there are caveats… If so, what?
Keen to learn:
🏔️How many #WildernessMedicine practitioners use #POCUS in their #Prehospital practice?
🏔️ If so, what modalities have people most frequently used in anger?
🏔️ If not, why not?
@LiverpoolSUPCo@SeaLionBoards Sadly not. Unimpressed by @SeaLionBoards lack of customer service & will therefore not be purchasing my first inflatable #SUP from them. Nevertheless, thank you for sharing your pearls re. #Sustainable board choice with a bamboozled novice!
@SeaLionBoards contemplating the purchase of my first inflatable SUP. Your brand was recommended to me by @LiverpoolSUPCo & have some Qs re. your #Rapoka board but “Support” on your website isn’t proving supportive! Is there any other means of contacting you? TIA!

Undress your patients into a gown, especially if they are in resus. I understand things are different and the question is, if the patient then ends up in a corridor etc but that isn’t a reason not to undress in the first place- trust me you will miss things!
@ashleighlowther 100% agree… Akin to a @ERC_resus course, if you don’t/ can’t properly look you’ll miss invaluable clues (like perineal ecchymosis in the systemically unwell, diabetic IVDU!)! #NecrotisingFasciitis
@ibnelamin@TOXBASE Can you explain by what mechanism? Aware stored #Blood has depleted levels of 2, 3-DPG, causing left shift of the oxygen dissociation curve, hence my Q. re. the utility of a PRC #Transfusion for O2 transport & delivery in patients in extremis. TIA
#MedTwitter & #Toxicologists, can anyone explain the rationale for the use of O -ve PRCs in the management of severe metHb as a consequence of sodium nitrite #Poisoning (as per @TOXBASE in absence of exchange transfusion)? TIA #EM#PHEM
