@ibnrajab01 But still Al Muhalla is an excellent collection. You can't excel in knowledge of fiqh without reading it it's one of the most important books on par with Al Mughni and other books like it.

@SamQari Apart from 4-6 people no legit scholar has said that it's permissible even scholars like Ibn Jawzi narrated the ijma on the impermissibility of music the ikhtelaf came in fourth century from Ibn Hazm and then after him Ghazali that's it . Contemporary scholars opinion
