I'm beyond proud of @JelenaK86 for presenting her impressive insulin secretion and proteomics data (in response to different macronutrients). Note to all that gene expression data are affected by islet prep technical matters, whereas proteins aren't.

@nictitate showing the islet field important beta SC and human islet differences. Beta SCs are closer to human islets than they once were, but it appears we aren't fully there yet! Francis reminds us that human beta cells don't work alone - the different islets cells network!
