In his last 4 games, Cam Hunter has averaged 25.8 ppg on 63.5% shooting – including 47.6% from 3 (10 of 21) – scoring 1.6 pts per shot, about the same rate as SGA.

He has scored 30+ in 3 of the 4 games (31, 32, 8, & 32) making him the 1st Bear to do it in Division 1. But beyond that, he is also the first to do it in 66 years – just the 2nd player in program history to go over 30 in 3 out of 4 games.

The other?

Not 6-time NBA champion & Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen; not program career scoring leader Jordan Howard (2,524 points); not Clifton Bush – the only other Bear to pass 2,000 career points (2,157 in 1988-92); not Tom Davis - whose career 24.0 ppg from 1963-65 is the most in program history.

The only other time on record that it happened was way back in 1960 when John Robinson – a Little Rock Central product, longtime high school coach & 2012 UCA Sports Hall of Fame inductee who scored over 1,500 points in his career – dropped 33 on Arkansas Tech, 31 on Ouachita Baptist, and 32 on Southern State (now SAU).

And Cam is doing this in the midst of the longest winning streak the program has had in over 20 years, with the Bears 2nd in the ASUN standings and a game back in the loss column. Pretty good run they're on in Conway. Next few weeks should be fun.

@UCAMBB won at Lipscomb today. It’s 7th in a row. Camren Hunter? Outstanding again: 32 points. 30+ in 3 of his last 4.

Now 14-10.

UCA last won 14 games in 2019, have only been over .500 once since 2006. Now 9-2 in @ASUNSports. UCA had 9 ASun wins combined the last two seasons. Already the most wins it’s ever had in ASun play and it’s only 2/7!
