@CarolineLucas Thank you for saying the right thing today.
And people are *still* losing loved ones, people are *still* struggling, more losing their health. And there is *still* inaction. I would love to see a party stand up and ask why - why repeat in late 2025 the mistakes of early 2020.
So proud to be delivering the Blast and Blast Mini to schools across London. Thanks to everyone that has supported us and to those who continue to push for clean air initiatives in schools 👏👏👏
The benefits of well-ventilated classrooms are clear, as our newly updated guidance explains. Not only do they help reduce the spread of winter infections – meaning fewer sickness absences among staff and pupils – but good indoor air quality also improves concentration and supports learning. It’s a lesson we’ll be emphasising in our evidence to the COVID Inquiry. @covidinquiry

Please listen to Seren's story. No one, especially a child should face this level of harassment from peers, parents and teachers for just trying to protect their clinically vulnerable/disabled loved ones.
"We all breathe the same air, but not with the same consequences. For people with chronic conditions and other risk factors, unsafe air means unsafe spaces."
📢 Children have been bullied by adults and children, denied remote education & families threatened with fines – just for trying to stay safe in a pandemic.

So if you’re visiting someone in palliative care, or hospital

Not because it’s required.
Not because anyone will thank you.
But because love should always mean doing everything you can to protect them—even when it’s hard.

For those of you who think about the future health of children, this is a very interesting thread, below.
And for those who just like to think, and maybe are willing to have previous thinking challenged a little, it will do the trick for that as well…
Hospital stays should not come with a side order of infections.
We clean hands and surfaces for patients - why isn't #CleanAir incorporated in infection prevention and control?
🌟Excited to share this article I wrote for @TeachPrimary magazine!
I ask WHY #Teachers and #Pupils are STILL left to repeatedly catch airborne diseases in schools when we KNOW that #HEPA filters would reduce sickness and improve #attendance? #EduTwitter

@acrossthemersey Which is why, as a cancer survivor, I always mask up in crowded indoor spaces & all medical facilities. And absolutely dont understand why no staff mask at my cancer center!!
