A settler sanctioned by both the US and EU drove an excavator into a Palestinian man, then shot and killed his cousin who was filming it. He was put on house arrest and released days later. The army's condition for returning the body: a funeral of no more than 15 people, held at night. https://t.co/NTaODdqEfd
You think Bukayo Saka's going to wilt? You think Gabriel is the type to throw in the towel? You think Declan Rice will fold? Everyone seems desperate for Arsenal to 'bottle' the title. This is why it isn't going to happen. https://t.co/5io6a4e6kT
After the tragedy in Minnesota yesterday, I ask a very simple question: What are we OK with?
I truly believe this is worth your time.
Also, don’t argue in the comments. Don’t even read them.
Yalla Na’merha (let’s build it) campaign continues, support now: https://t.co/9fS2F3FAue . A lot of work is done behind the scenes before you see these videos.
The Translating Falasteen (@translatingpal) x Sameer Project team does thorough assessments of the areas to decide whether it’s worth clearing the streets or not. This includes the number of truckloads needed, number of families living in the area, and making sure that we maximize the reach of water and aid to the area. This no easy feat.
This video was filmed in Sheikh Radwan area in North Gaza two days ago where the Sameer Project cleared two side streets and the cost was around $7,000. There are streets that our team assessed that néed up to $40,000 to be cleared due to the high amount of rubble.
This work is supposed to be done by international organizations but so far the military occupation hasn’t allowed building material or these large organizations in. At the Sameer Project, we are choosing not to sit around and wait but do whatever we can to provide some relief to Palestinians in Gaza.
