There is a chance that 90% of people leave campus with the similar amount of knowledge.
They attended the same lectures, sat for the same exams, used the same library, and graduated with the same degree.
Yet five years later, their lives can look completely different.
One graduate spends weekends learning new skills, building a portfolio, attending industry events, and applying for opportunities even when they feel unqualified.
Another decides to wait for the "perfect" job and only applies when they feel 100% ready.
One starts a small side hustle that earns very little at first but teaches valuable business skills. Another dismisses the idea because the income seems too small to matter.
One reaches out to professionals on LinkedIn, asks questions, and builds relationships. Another fears rejection and stays within their circle of friends.
One saves and invests a portion of every paycheck. Another earns the same salary but spends everything as it comes.
Neither person is necessarily smarter than the other. Neither had a secret advantage.
The difference is often found in hundreds of small decisions made consistently over time.
Ten years later, people may look at the outcomes and assume one person was simply lucky.
What they don't see are the choices, habits, and sacrifices that quietly compounded in the background.
Education can put people on the same starting line.
Decisions determine who moves ahead, who stays still, and who changes direction entirely.
Your future is rarely decided by one big moment. More often, it is shaped by the small choices you make every day when nobody is watching.
Be forgiving with your past self. What's done is done. No sense in beating yourself up about it.
Be strict with your present self. Win the moment in front of you right now.
Be flexible with your future self. There are many paths to success. You don't need life to be a certain way to live well.

Advise someone once,
Remind him the second time,
Mention it the third time,
If they continue with their mess, leave them alone.
Just observe,
Let them drown in their own mess.
Then when they drown, and they seek your help, don't offer to help, you will drown with them.
New Launch 🚀
Most Kenyans are sitting on opportunities they don’t even realize exist.
A phone.
WiFi.
Consistency.
That’s all some people are using to quietly build incomes, businesses, audiences, and entirely new lives while others still think there’s nothing out here for them.
I wrote The WiFi Economy Playbook because too many smart people are stuck. Not because they lack potential but because nobody showed them where the world shifted to.
Today, I’m bringing everything together in one place.
Welcome to my MBITMED platform found on https://t.co/lI56G9XYn1
This is more than a website. It’s a home for the work I actually do and the conversations that matter to this generation.
Mental health.
Human psychology.
Healthcare systems.
Digital health.
Leadership.
Discipline.
Modern African realities.
And the uncomfortable truths we usually avoid talking about.
