ڈاکٹر ماہ رنگ بلوچ اور شاہ جی سبغت اللہ جیسے سیاسی کارکنان کو عمر قید کی سزا کا فیصلہ سنانا پرامن سیاسی آوازوں کو دبانے کے مترادف ہے، جس کی ہم شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتے ہیں۔

بلوچستان میں سیاسی کارکنان کو عرصہ دراز سے کڑے حالات کا سامنا رہا ہے، جس میں قید و بند، ہراسانی اور مختلف ادوار میں حکومتوں کی جانب سے کیے جانے والے کریک ڈاؤن سمیت کئی طرح کے ہتھکنڈے شامل ہیں۔ بلوچستان میں انصاف کے تقاضے پورے نہ ہونے، فیئر ٹرائل کے فقدان اور شفاف تحقیقات کے نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے نہ صرف سیاسی طور پر باشعور لوگ، بلکہ اب عام عوام بھی انصاف کی فراہمی سے مایوس ہو چکی ہے۔ اس مایوسی کی سب سے بڑی وجہ لوگوں کی داد رسی نہ ہونا اور شفاف مروجہ طریقہ کار کا نہ ہونا ہے۔

بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان پچھلے ایک سال سے زائد عرصے سے قید و بند کی صعوبتیں جھیل رہے ہیں، جہاں نہ تو انہیں منصفانہ سماعت کا موقع دیا گیا اور نہ ہی کوئی شفاف تحقیقات کرائی گئی۔ ایک طرف جیل میں ان کے ساتھ ہراسانی کے واقعات رپورٹ ہوتے رہے، تو دوسری طرف انہیں اپنا موقف پیش کرنے اور اپنے بنیادی و قانونی حق کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے اپنی وکلا چننے کی اجازت تک نہیں دی گئی۔ یہ اقدامات بلوچستان میں جاری پُرامن سیاسی سرگرمیوں کا گلا گھوٹنے کے برابر ہیں، جنہیں اب قانونی شکل دی جا رہی ہے۔ ہمارا موقف اس بات پر قائم ہیں کہ کسی بھی شخص پر کوئی بھی الزام ہو، ثبوت اور گواہوں کی موجودگی میں شفاف تحقیقات کے بعد اوپن کورٹ میں اس کا ٹرائل ہونا چاہیے اور قانون کے مطابق سزا ہونی چاہیے۔ لیکن یہاں ہر قدم اور ہر سزا صرف سیاسی انتقام اور سیاسی سرگرمیوں کو روکنے کے لیے دی جاتی ہے، جو کہ انسانی حقوق اور 'اصولِ انصاف' کے سراسر خلاف ہے۔ جس ملک میں بنیادی انسانی حقوق اور انصاف کے تقاضے پورے نہ ہوں، وہاں ایسے فیصلے 'کالے قوانین' کے دائرے میں آتے ہیں۔

بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان کو عمر قید کی سزا سنانے کے عمل کو ہم شفافیت اور انصاف کو پاؤں تلے روندنے کے مترادف سمجھتے ہیں اور اسے انتہائی تشویش کی نگاہ سے دیکھتے ہیں۔ یہ فیصلہ بنیادی انسانی حقوق پر ایک سنگیں حملہ ہے۔ ہمارا ماننا ہے کہ یہ ہتھکنڈے پُرامن سیاسی جدوجہد کی راہ میں رکاوٹ ڈالنے کی ناکام کوشش ہیں، کیونکہ پُرامن سیاسی عمل کسی خوف یا ڈر کے سامنے نہیں جھکتا۔ بلوچ سیاسی کارکنان کو محض پُرامن سیاسی سرگرمیوں کی پاداش میں جھوٹے کیسز پر اتنی بڑی سزا دینا اس نظام پر ایک سیاہ داغ ہے۔ ہم بطور ایک طلباء تنظیم اس ناانصافی، غیر شفافیت اور انتقامی کارروائی پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اس کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کرتے ہیں۔

Baloch Literacy Campaign is deeply concerned about the poor conditions of the Government Primary School Kor Tamboo, Kohlu, Balochistan. The building was constructed in 1985, and since then, the school has faced harsh weather and disasters without any renovations. For 41 years, the authorities have neglected the school's need for structural repairs. Currently, the school is on the verge of collapse. Deep cracks threaten the stability of the walls and roof, creating a dangerous environment for students.
In addition to structural issues, the school lacks basic facilities such as clean water, textbooks, and enough classrooms to ensure a proper and effective learning environment.

The organization urges the authorities to address the school's issues and rebuild its infrastructure to provide access to basic education for every child.

Baloch Literacy Campaign is deeply concerned about the unfortunate conditions of the Government Middle School Rasoolabad Goth, located at Muhammad Panah Umrani, Tehsil Tamboo, Magsi Shaak.

The collapsing school was constructed in 1992 and since then, the school has faced multiple natural disasters with no renovation, leavubg the infrastructure in a severely critical state.
Currently, the School is turning into ruins. It has been neglected by the concerned authorities and stakeholders, due to such unfortunate circumstances, there are hundreds of students deprived of having basic education.

Baloch Literacy Campaign

Baloch Literacy Campaign is highly concerned about the stagnation in the construction of Taj Muhammad Taj Inter-College in Nasirabad. The foundation of the college was laid in 2019, but its construction has since been put on hold. Students are expressing their views and concerns regarding the expected impacts of this critical situation. It should be noted that the entire region lacks any such college to facilitate students.

In Balochistan, the educational system is in poor condition. The ongoing failure to heed such crises makes the situation even more critical. We have always expressed our concerns regarding these ongoing educational crises with a focus on addressing and improving them. However, the concerned authorities seem to be failing to address these challenges.

The Baloch Students Action Committee (@BSAC_org ), through its Literacy Campaign (@BLC_BSAC ), highlights the concerns of the region's students regarding the construction of the college, asks the relevant authorities to take notice of the delay, and calls for its completion as soon as possible.

The concerns over the deteriorating conditions of public library of Dera Murad Jamali.

Baloch Students Action Committee

The public library in Dera Murad Jamali (Teepul), Naseerabad, was constructed in 2018 under the provincial development scheme, viewed as a progress project for the region. However, after its management was transferred to the social welfare department, the library began to deteriorate critically.

Due to major neglect of its core responsibilities by authorities, a shortage of staff such as security guards and peons has resulted in the theft of books and essential equipment. Additionally, in Naseerabad's scorching climate, the lack of air conditioning, electricity, and solar backups has made it nearly impossible for students to study.

The unavailability of books, Wi-Fi, and basic resources like water, electricity power, and staff has effectively left the library in ruins. Students have approached district authorities and library management about the library's critical condition, but no substantial action has been taken. Students demand that these issues be addressed immediately.

The organisation makes it clear that if these issues remain unattended, students will be forced to take strict actions to protect their educational rights and the organisation shall remain in support of the students for the library campaign.

Baloch Literacy campaign is deeply concerned about the alarming educational crisis in Ronjaan, Tehsil Mashkay, District Awaran, where Government Primary Schools for both, girls and boys, face severe neglect, depriving hundreds of children of their educational right to basic education.

The situation of education in the area remains in critical condition. The primary Girls school has remained completely shut down for almost seven years due to a total absence of teachers and basic resources. Meanwhile, the government boys primary school, which remained closed for 5 years, operates critically under a contract-based teacher who manages over 70 students in a single rented room by the local residents, lacking essential learning facilities.

Baloch Literacy Campaign highlights the poor conditions of the Government Primary School Lango Abad, Kad Koocha, located in Mastung district of Balochistan. The primary school of Lango Abad has over 50 enrolled students, yet there is a severe shortage of fundamental necessities. The students do not have sufficient textbooks to meet their needs for their educational growth.

In the said school the classrooms lack the essential elements needed for a proper learning environment. There is no furniture, and students are forced to sit on the already damaged floor. Additionally, the conditions in the second classroom are far worse than in the first class. Meanwhile, the classroom windows are damaged, and the wirings of the class are exposed, posing a significant risk to the students.

The school’s boundary wall is on the verge of collapse, putting the lives of the young children at serious risk. Although the locals of the residents have repaired one section of the wall out of their own pockets but the wall remains in a critical condition.

The enforced disappearance of Fazal Baloch, a Central Cabinet member of BSF, is highly concerning. Such acts reflect a growing sense of insecurity and fear regarding the safety of political activists. In the past few days, many activists, including students, have been subjected to enforced disappearances, which is condemnable.

The recently rising trend of enforced disappearances is highly alarming and is being reported at a growing rate, particularly targeting students. Students are considered the future of any nation, just as Baloch students are the future of the Baloch nation, who with their capabilities are able to work for the well-being of society.

We, as a student organization, condemn this act of aggression in the strongest possible terms and demand his safe and immediate release.

BLC Awareness Campaign

The Baloch Students Action Committee, under the banner of the Baloch Literacy Campaign (BLC), held a three-day awareness campaign in Kalat, Balochistan. The campaign was aimed at helping and assisting the Baloch students of Kalat to gain admission to universities on the basis of reserved seats through the Balochistan Directorate of Education.

The team of BSAC Kalat Zone visited different schools and academies to help and encourage the students to submit their documents for admission to different universities in sister provinces for their further studies. The campaign included a one-day admission-awareness session and a two-day help desk, where students from various academies and schools participated and were helped by the BLC team.

We are looking forward to seeing our students get admission to the best universities for their well-rounded educational experiences. We also wish to share that our BLC team in different regions will, indubitably, support and assist the students for their academic success.
