@Soulsurfer4325@mainbhiengineer And being promoted by official handles of opposition party of the country, don't you think the countries who are always waiting to mock India won't use this ??
@Soulsurfer4325@mainbhiengineer Who said this was a global event, I mean the prime minister represents our country at global stage... Read carefully before answering anything
@vijaythottathil Sorry but disgusted as a national to see the prime minister of my country getting mocked on global stage by someone as responsible as Rahul Gandhi, nothing political but I don't think this is fair as a human
Shameful and disgusting! Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party have stooped to an absolute nadir of moral bankruptcy. Weaponising a student interaction to mock and insult the late mother of PM Shri @narendramodi ji reveals a shocking lack of basic human empathy and political culture.
Political opposition should not be reduced to such theatrics or to trading insults against elders and parents. That is not the Indian way.
The Leader of Opposition’s position comes with responsibility, yet Rahul Gandhi continues to falter in upholding the dignity of the office and, in the process, brings disrepute to the country.
Political battles should be fought on policy and vision, but launching vile personal attacks is not politics. This toxic and abusive mentality is precisely why the public has repeatedly rejected the Congress.
I genuinely don’t understand what’s wrong with these people. What’s the point of education if you can’t understand the basic fact that not everything is Modi or the PM’s fault?
Your property is 50–70 years old.
The municipality comes to your door. You pay a bribe, and somehow things continue.
OTH you move to a new place looking for a flat. You choose the cheapest one without doing basic due diligence.
The building collapses and now whom do you blame?
When the government takes preventive action, issues notices, or attempts to demolish a vulnerable building, you protest and even approach the Supreme Court.
So who is to blame?
Take responsibility for your own choices.
What happened was tragic and deeply unfortunate.
But accountability cannot mean blaming the PM for every failure of local administration, municipal enforcement, corruption, or individual decision-making.
You cannot blame the loco pilot for walking onto a railway track yourself.
Airports are the worst thing to pick if you want to argue India is not progressing.
Let me explain.
Yesterday, an intense burst of rain on 4 September with the IMD on a red alert.
Water collected in the Terminal 3 forecourt and on the approach road. Nine flights were diverted and more than 400 delayed. The operator said the water was limited to the forecourt and approach areas and that pumping cleared most of it once the rain eased.
Interestingly, on 16 August 2023, about 60mm of rain fell around Frankfurt Airport in roughly three hours. Sixty.
That is what IMD would classify as moderate rain in Delhi.
However, Germany’s biggest airport, and one of Europe’s main hubs, could not handle it. Water covered the tarmac and the runway. Ground handling stopped completely for over two hours.
Passengers sat on aircraft that had already landed, unable to get off. Ninety flights were cancelled and 23 more were diverted to other airports. The airport shut its doors two hours early to stop the situation getting worse. People slept on camp beds.
Nobody used that to argue Germany is not a developed country.
There are more examples, all from countries nobody mocks.
Toronto Pearson, 16 July 2024. Just under 100mm in a day, its fifth highest single day rainfall on record. The city flooded, the Don Valley Parkway shut, cars were abandoned on the expressway. Pearson had already logged 126mm in a single day in 2013 and did the same thing again in August 2024 with 121mm. Two hundred year storms in back to back months.
Barcelona El Prat, 4 November 2024. Water was filmed pouring through the terminal ceiling and one runway went under. Around 50 flights cancelled or delayed and 17 diverted. Spain’s second busiest airport, in a country that gets serious rain every autumn.
And the one I find funniest. Madrid Barajas, 5 February this year. A water pipe burst outside the airport and flooded the M-14 tunnel that connects Terminals 1, 2 and 3 to Terminal 4.
Emergency services pulled drivers off the roofs of their cars. Metro Line 8 to the city was suspended. Thousands missed flights. That happened with zero rainfall. Just a pipe.
See every airport sizes its drainage to a design storm. Engineers look at decades of local rainfall records, pick a level the system should handle, and build the pipes and pumps for that number. When water arrives faster than the pipes can carry it away, it sits on the surface until the pumps catch up.
Frankfurt’s pipes could not take 60mm in three hours.
The thing that separates a well run airport from a badly run one is not whether water ever collects. It is how fast it clears and whether the runways keep working.
Frankfurt lost its runway and stopped ground handling. Barcelona lost a runway. Delhi lost a kerbside pickup zone and kept flying.
Yes, Delhi airport’s operator has been publicly asking state and central agencies for years to widen the underground drainage line running from Terminal 3 to Najafgarh. That request has been on record since at least 2021. The same forecourt has flooded before.
But a country can grow at 7.8% and still have an undersized drain.
Germany’s GDP per capita is roughly twenty times India’s and its main airport still trapped passengers inside parked aircraft after 60mm of rain.
Please don’t pretend a puddle at arrivals defines India’s growth story. It doesn’t make sense.
“DON’T GO TO CJP OR LEFTIST RALLIES.”
That is the message being conveyed by the Tamil Nadu government to colleges, the police and district administration, with instructions to coordinate efforts to prevent students and young people from joining protests.
When Delhi University, JNU and Jamia did something similar to protect their students, the Congress ecosystem erupted in outrage and lectures on constitutional rights followed.
Now, when a Congress-supported TVK government department is doing it, the same ecosystem has suddenly gone silent.
Does a constitutional right become less sacred when the government of the day is politically convenient?
Apparently, for our assorted Opposition, principles are negotiable and outrage is selective.

"Just keep eating your burger & enjoy"
That was lethal.😂😂😂
Cockroaches deserve no sympathy whatsoever!
When we see a cockroach at home, what do we do? That is exactly how these cockroaches should be dealt with. Otherwise, they will only become creepier.
Check out this video. What does this have to do with education and employment?
What began as protests over NEET has now morphed into anti-India slogans. "Bring back Article 370". Since when did that become a students' demand?
The whole world knows how the 1989 Tiananmen Square student movement was crushed. The Deep State salve media that was silent then will now lecture India on democracy.
Stone-pelting, vandalism and attacks on India's Hydrogen Trains have nothing to do with education or employment. So, what exactly is this movement about?
Who the hell is Sonam Wangchuk and who is he to India?
Maybe the Indian government realized that a "cockroach" didn't deserve much attention because it would fizzle out on its own.
But the cockroach is now wreaking havoc.
Sometimes, ignoring a problem doesn't make it disappear; it only gives it more time to grow, like cancer! @PMOIndia@narendramodi@HMOIndia@AmitShah
@striver_79@Swiggy Noted @striver_79 , not at Swiggy but we are building USTART, a food delivery platform, will definitely try to use your idea and give you feedback over the UX
My main objective is never a refund but as a customer paying for the service wouldn't like a frequent disruptions which is not at my fault.
As a customer who is paying has a right for a support from them because the person at there helpline won't listen
@JioCare has such a pathetic service and I think there should be a refund option when they can't provide a service to their customer...
They just take money and then the customer suffer with them taking no responsibility
#jioisfraud
The issue is with my 25 days old connection where the internet switch off daily for 3-4 hours after multiple hours of call with @JioCare
I have never received a solution. They promised we will send a technician but no person came ever.
Just false hopes and lies
