I've made a blog, which includes (as of right now) one blog post ๐. It's the mostly serious story of how it was to speak at a software conference for the first time. Check it out here:

@aurorascharff A small one which is fairly easily circumvented with svgr and a custom loader, but I wish there was better support for inline SVGs. There's a bunch of stuff you can't do when you render it as an img. Having some svgr-like functionality baked in by default would be neat.
This is a big one. Making Next.js deploy well on every major cloud has been a real focus, and the team has been working closely with partners to get it right.
@aurorascharff@aurorascharff If I'm understanding the implications correctly, this means that a more Vercel-like deployment solution for AWS/CF/etc is in development, meaning less need to resort to standalone mode? I know OpenNext exists of course, but official support is a different ballgame.
@aurorascharff Woah that's actually super cool. As someone who has now gotten the answer "but enterprise reasons" twice in my life when suggesting we deploy on Vercel, this is very welcome.
I've long thought that we would have fewer superflous meetings if people realized how costly they are.
So I made a tool to visualize how costly meetings are: https://t.co/DLnHiBckVm
@even_uniquer@dhh@stackframer Nope, not impossible! While it's not 2200, I've led a hiring process for a position where we received 600+ applications. We vetted every single one manually, and we did it in less than a week.
And in case anyone is wondering - I do actually have another video idea in the works, and having recently bought a phone with good video and microphone quality, I'm running out of excuses not to finally make it ๐
3 years ago I posted this video on Youtube: https://t.co/UW6iXhkwcK
I recently talked to a colleague who specifically mentioned it as something that set me apart from other candidates. Put the things you make out there, and remember that they don't need to be perfect!
