Skill up on things that can be learned but not taught.
Where practice and experience are the key ingredients to getting good at it. This is where you're going to be able to differentiate yourself from others and become uniquely you.
We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.
Thank you,
Sam Houser
We are devastated to learn of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to us all. Our heart goes out to his family, loved ones, and all of his fans.
@JackRhysider There was an abandoned tobacco factory near our school. During recess me and my friends used go there. It was a chill but creepy place, you know like concrete turned blackish from the moss and a lot of over growth. It was fun though.
For years now I've been obsessed with a certain feeling. That feeling we got on the last day of school before summer break. It was magical wasn't it?
I've been trying to recreate that feeling to enjoy it again and again, weekly or even daily. And here's my method.
First, start the day doing something extraordinarily hard. For me that's a work out. Push yourself past your quitting point and surprise yourself with what you can do. Good job. The rest of the day is easier now.
Set yourself up with the most nutritious lunch you can find. Salad. Smoothies. Delay your gratification. I will usually pack mine with me and go to the library to do work from.
Next is being productive. For me that's going into focus mode, turning off email and chat, and just ripping through an episode. Typically writing or sound design. The task needs to be long and hard to do like 4 to 6 hours of solid work and be completed by the end of the day. Get that salad out to keep you going. Completion is a key element. Even if all you do is complete a rough draft you need that feeling of having an enormously productive day.
Now for the best part. It's all adding up. Get your headphones out and play your favorite feel good music. And get outside and walk somewhere. For me it's typically walking to the car from the library. And that walk, is possibly the most gorgeous moment of my week. It feels so damn good. It's like you're floating. You have infinite potential. The future is grand. Big ole grin ear to ear. Everything feels great. The music sounds better than ever. You just can't help but dance to it. This feeling is worth chasing. And I can't wait for the next time I get to feel it.
