Week One complete. Verdict - it’s ok so far. Flushing is definitely not as bad when I make sure I drink lots of water. And the balanced meal when taking it is also needed to keep stomach upsets away. Guess I need to make sure I keep eating breakfast from now on #tecfidera

Heading down a new path in this journey. Turned out Plegridy was no good for my liver function so time for Tecfidera to have a go. I only tend to post positive things on here so am quiet when things are tougher. But am so grateful to those who are much better than me at sharing.

Few hours in the spa. Was worried how the heat of the various steam and sauna experiences would affect me but surprised that taking it easy and taking advantage of the cool showers/ice rubs seems to have meant I’ve been fine. Long may this continue, even had time to read

Book number two, sat by the patio door so I can smell the forest in the rain. No ideal holiday weather but making the most of it 🌧 #JoyInSummer #DespiteTheRain

First book I’ve picked up in a couple of years. Really struck me how little time I make for myself. This needs to change. Rushing around and spending time in gorgeous places needs to be combined with some rest I feel. And this holiday is where it will start.

Well turns out I was feeling rubbish partly because of the plegridy. Liver function tests not good. Back to normal now but time to start again and choose another DMT. Taken me a couple of weeks to face up to starting over, but ready to go

@annakatarinaz Now I’m very jealous. I love Canada, we’ve been a couple of times. My husband has family in Toronto and Montreal. The first time he drove me all the way to PEI because I watched Anne of a Green Gables as a child. Which was impressive as we flew in and out of New York. Epic trip.

@Not_Just_Tired That’s so pretty, I had no idea they were like that. Missing my usual National Trust visits this year, my garden just isn’t the same x

A very windy walk there and back, but was very happy to have my first Pfizer Covid jab yesterday. Such a happy atmosphere and the organisation was amazing right down to the sticker on my hand telling me when my 15 minutes sitting in the waiting room was up. 💙
