Startups founded by women tend to be evaluated less favourably than those founded by men. @IvonaHideg moves beyond traditional sexism and explores what role benevolent sexism plays in these entrepreneurship funding decisions. https://t.co/gmkqdrxl37
Benevolent sexism was not associated with evaluations of women-led startups but was positively associated with those of men-led startups! Benevolent sexism can therefore be an advantaging mechanism, helping to explain the gender gap in startup evaluations. (2/2)
