They're trying to reach a different audience that obviously didn't work out like they hoped for. Expensive lesson learned, which ultimately hurt the Destiny franchise.

One of the worst things about social media is it's made some people think that literally everything that happens in their life should be 'content' for public consumption.

Instead of living life, they're always thinking about clicks, views, and validation from strangers.

@ravenwing_en @PeachMilky_ Sounds like false advertising, doesn't it? FF7: Remake but it's a sequel. If that was their intent all along they should have just named it something completely different; "FF7: Sequel" for all I care. Problem is, fans were asking for a remake not a sequel.

@PeachMilky_ Before the Remake released never did I ever hear, "I hope they replace the story". And now I hear about half the time they screwed up the story so bad it's unrecognizable or simply awful.

@PeachMilky_ Problem is, that's not why people wanted a Remake in the first place. It's a lot of people's favorite for a reason. They took a story they loved and replaced it with who knows what, and expect people to enjoy it. IMO, a remake should never attempt to replace what's already loved.
