Question for the #WritingCommnunity - do short #nurseryrhymes count as #flashfiction? #amwriting and working on a piece for my #WiP and realized that it's a #shortform (>250wc) contained #story, so wasn't sure. #justcurious, as #flashfic obviously isn't my area. #thoughts?

@_ACoops_ My moms 1 rule around reading was that she was aware what I had to make sure it was appropriate (I read way above level at a young age). Past that, it was w/e I was interested in at the time - comics to record books, and everything in between. It fostered a vast love of all books

Im blaming Libby's lies (saying it kept track of every book in a list that I can access) and not my procrastination for my #goodreadsgoal being incorrect. I thought I could just go add all 80+ extra books now and be done.

@DRenjenko @RhondaBlogs @sweth @WriterBran @KatCho That was one of my most recurring dreams when I was younger (breathing underwater). I would panic until the point I had to breathe, and it would be the slightest bit uncomfortable at first, but totally fine
First time I tried scuba in college was pure magic - felt nearly the same

@DRenjenko @SarahJDaley @WriterBran @KatCho And I'm not saying using PoC names is enough (b/c it isnt!), or that all of the other great things she did with that series (and her writing in general) which we take for granted as givens now, excuse it (b/c they don't)
Also, how many generations later is it? I can't remember...

@DRenjenko @SarahJDaley @WriterBran @KatCho I mean, there's also some of the names, too - Kenjo Fusiyuki and his entire family doesn't exactly fall in line with basic American nomenclature [like 'Jessica' - AKA me] (and that's just one example).
Also, Sebell is repeatedly described as 'brown' in HarperHall...
