I've been using @BodyBuddyCoach by @franjohn21 for the past 18 days.
I went from ~120g of protein to ~180g on average, from inconsistent activity to daily, and to 100% calorie logs. Lost 1.2lbs.
It is radically effective to offload the mental burden of health to an AI.
@DavidSacks Paired with this, we should, at a minimum, open a fast-track permanent immigration path for researchers and AI talent to the U.S.
I would even go so far as to make a specific recruiting effort and tax incentive for these individuals.
@DavidSacks Should we make a national investment in AI labs (funds earmarked solely for AGI / model development vs. their product ecosystem)? Seems to me this is our Manhattan Project moment.
@hosseeb i remember hitting nukes in mw2 and building redstone computers as a kid, then swiftly trying to create businesses around the games, which then led to infra etc
taking things apart -> building computer -> gaming -> software -> company building seems common story
I love reading the news in the morning, and I have always wanted to read a newspaper just focused on my company.
What happened yesterday? Breaking news? Anything I missed?
Well, now each morning the @wander team gets a custom newspaper, built by @Adapt
Funnies and all.
@DhravyaShah@sohamdaga22 hyper critical to shake things up, constantly
I think its possible to live 100x as many lives worth of content, by being intentional about reducing repetitiveness
the newness has the added benefit of keeping child like curiosity and wonder well alive even into adulthood
So... we're hosting a Hackathon. Pumped that @jaentwistle's teammate is joining, because holy smokes does @wander team know how to build.
All builders welcome! (July 21-24th)

introducing @BodyBuddyCoach - an accountability coach that texts you everyday for your health & nutrition.
here's why I'm building it:
three years ago I was the most out of shape I'd ever been. sluggish, low energy. I figured it was just getting older.
i hired an accountability coach. every morning he'd text: "what's your plan for food and exercise today?" every evening: "how'd it go?"
within a year I lost 25 lbs and was in the best shape of my life. just having someone asking every single day made me actually stick to my word and stay consistent.
but it cost $300/month. for most people that's simply too expensive to try. I started wondering: what if AI could replicate the same daily accountability without the steep price tag?
i honestly wasn't sure. but one early user told us it was "the best success I've ever had in this area." another lost 7 lbs in the first month and said they "couldn't recommend it highly enough".
so I'm going all in on BodyBuddy. and my original coach loved the idea so much he joined me.
i want to end by saying: you're perfect the way you are. but if you've been wanting to lose a few pounds, get in better shape, or just take your health more seriously, it would mean a lot if you gave BodyBuddy a shot. And if you know someone this could help, please send it their way. ๐
comment "๐ " and I'll send you the link.
I have been using @franjohn21's new app for the last few weeks, and I bothered him until he let me invest.
He's raising his pre-seed round; it's had the best UI/UX of any health app I've used.
I think it's clearly a big opportunity; if any angels want an intro, lmk.
