Today in Tampa, I outlined the Save Our Homes from Excessive Property Taxes plan that will eliminate taxes on homesteads.
Property tax revenue collected by local governments has nearly doubled in the past seven years (from $32 billion to $60 billion) and is expected to reach an astounding $83 billion by 2032.
Florida homeowners need relief. Now is the time to stand up for taxpayers, enact a historic reform, and save the home of every Floridian.
@SpicyyNews@RonDeSantis This is only for primary residence and will likely be a reduction not full relief. 60% of Florida property taxes currently come from sources other than primary residence.
@BillAckman I’m going to invest a 100k (Amount relevant bc it won’t effect liquidity in PSHZF with that low amount) in either PSHZF or PSUS. I tend to think PSHZF as then current discount is wider. Which should I pick or can’t go wrong either way?
@realEstateTrent Agree on accountants being typecasted. If you can break out of that it’s potentially the best major, given the skill of reading financial statements tha comes with it, but people will always want you to be an accountant unless you change that.
