Build a robust Ray platform ✅. Make its developer experience frictionless ✅. Done, but how did we do it? #MachineLearning engineers, @daikeshi and @davidxia_, will be giving you the inside scoop at #RaySummit on 9/19. Register to watch it live here: https://t.co/IH08h6LwC0

What is Backstage and why are companies like Netflix, Grab, Wealthsimple, QuintoAndar, Wayfair and hundreds of other tech organizations adopting it?

In this week's subscriber-only article, we went deep into Backstage, and alternatives to it: https://t.co/54dPV4Sbd3

[Gustav Söderström @GustavS]

Pretty proud of the @Spotify team for this one – a generative, expressive and realistic AI DJ that delivers a personalized lineup of music and commentary to each user, for all those times you don’t know exactly what you want to hear. Hope you like it! 🎧 https://t.co/4PwXKUW0Cl

"Our goal for Spotify’s ML Platform has always been to create a seamless user experience for ML practitioners who want to take an ML application from development to production..."

And so, we introduced @raydistributed to our @Spotify ecosystem. https://t.co/RSIhGIgEIk

Huge shoutout to @DivitaVohra @daikeshi and the rest of the team for driving this work to success for the last year. Their enthusiasm and effort drove major improvements on our underserved Research users, and some huge ML wins!
🚀 🎶

[Divita Vohra @DivitaVohra]

I’m so proud of the work we’re doing at Spotify, and even more proud of the team I get to grow with through it all.

Check out how we’re unleashing ML innovation at Spotify! @daikeshi @davidxia_ @pchandarr

BIG shoutout to the @anyscalecompute team for being awesome partners.

I’m at #NeurIPS22 to present at the Offline RL Workshop / the RL4RealLife Workshop and to check out LLM work which Spotify is rapidly investing in, see you in New Orleans!

[Mounia Lalmas @mounialalmas]

I will be attending @NeurIPSConf #NeurIPS2022 my 1st time at this conference. Happy to meet, and talk about research & machine learning @Spotify @SpotifyEng @SpotifyResearch. We are also expanding our expertise in large language models, see the role below.

[Andrej Karpathy @karpathy]

Good post. A lot of interest atm in wiring up LLMs to a wider compute infrastructure via text I/O (e.g. calculator, python interpreter, google search, scratchpads, databases, ...). The LLM becomes the "cognitive engine" orchestrating resources, its thought stack trace in raw text

Bad idea riding a @CitiBikeNYC to work during cold weather.

And all those “open spots” are broken docks

@mattnworb on web, you get this popup.

Somewhere there's some dude named Tom Averifil or something that's getting really frustrated they can't use their name.

Last month, @DivitaVohra and @polarfoxgirl gave a pair of great talks at our Spotify office for the MLOps meetup. Check out the videos in this thread

@bennstancil This kinda sounds like how prioritization is done today but with a lot of extra steps, tbh.

A lighter weight version that seems promising: https://t.co/sRONNObQK6

@Jiminy_Kirket @normconf If I remember correctly you created the data mess. Not mesh. Close though. Everyone knows the data mesh was invented by Al Gore.

[Josh Baer @jbx____]

@mipsytipsy @lizthegrey We (Spotify) have dedicated internal platform marketing folks that borders devrel? and some groups have dedicated engagement teams, but I’d say that role is largely driven by the Platform PMs w/ engineering partners.

[Josh Baer @jbx____]

@davidpoblador @SpotifyCares sorry @davidpoblador, guess you have to come back now 😄

[Josh Baer @jbx____]

@Jiminy_Kirket For a week, my phone's slack had a phantom unread thread notification that led me to reinstall the apps on phone/mac.

It's a disease (Shift+Escape on desktop is the cure)
