Homan is merely telling the GOP conference, the Trump administration will need to spend a lot of money to fullfill the "Mass Deportation" promise. Everyone in MAGA knew it'll cost money to get it done.

ICE doesn't have the budget or resources for mass deportation. We all know that. This means we'll need ti increase spending.

You already have Rep Massie and Senator Paul reverting to their hardcore "Fiscal Budge Hawk" ways, and considering the recent CR had 30+ GOP defections over raising the Debt Ceiling, President Trump knows he won't be able to go to Congress and just ask for more money because the GOP "Fiscal Hawks" won't approve it.

He already knows the Dems will oppose him, and the media will be ready with their emotional hit pieces to sway public opinion against it, Trump doesn't want to add GOP infighting to the mix. Especially if he wants the GOP to keep the House in 2026.

You see... where MAGA and Conservatives differ is; we understand the political reality and we'll accept getting as much as we can get of Trump's promises and policies as we can get.

But it won't stop people like you, who'd rather frame this as "Trump's walking back promises" because you're still bitter over DeSantis not winning the GOP Primary.
