After spending around 45 days in the ICU, discharge day became a moment worth celebrating.
Every discharge is a journey. There are difficult days, small steps forward, dedicated healthcare teams and families who keep showing up.
For Shilat, that journey reached an important milestone: going home.
We’re grateful to have been part of her care and to witness this moment.

It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Founding Partner, D.S Mubiru-Kalenge, who passed away today at Nakasero Hospital. His passing is a great loss hard to take in at this moment.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Yesterday, I was honoured to serve as Guest of Honour at the Uganda Open final — a truly momentous occasion as we witnessed a Ugandan claim the Championship after 12 years. The victory aged gracefully, much like a Johnnie Walker Black Label, matured for at least 12 years in the cask.
Ronald Rugumayo’s triumph was both historic and inspiring to Uganda . We extend our gratitude to the Uganda Golf Union for their excellent organisation, and to the Uganda Golf Club members for generously hosting the tournament over several weeks.
Special thanks to the @UgandaBreweries team and Johnnie Walker for being the anchor sponsor, alongside all our partner sponsors @KKariisa@AndrewBugembe@DavidAWandera who made this celebration of golf possible.

For 47 years, I served my country.
Through war and peace, triumph and loss, I presented myself for duty. I wore the uniform with pride, knowing that behind it was the trust of millions of Ugandans.
Along the way, I lost brothers. I made lifelong friends. I witnessed Uganda change, struggle, and rise. I carry every memory with me.
I retire with a heart full of gratitude.
To the men and women with whom I served, thank you.
To the fallen, I will never forget you.
To my family, thank you for sharing me with the nation.
And to Uganda, thank you for giving me the honour of serving you.
My love for Uganda will never retire.
One final salute.
For God and My Country.

During our Vocational Visit to @mengo_hospital, we had the opportunity to spend time with patients in the Pediatric Ward, where we shared donations of essential daily-use items.
A small gesture, but one we hope brought some comfort and joy to the children and families we met.
.@Jdmugerwa shared insights with distributors and industry partners at the Uganda Breweries F27 Distributor Conference, highlighting the importance of collaboration in building stronger businesses and value chains.

85% of the CAPEX on a capital project is spent in the supply chain. Therefore, the development of our local suppliers is vital for UNOC’s operatorship ambitions and Uganda’s energy independence and security.
