🚨 GARY!!! Enough with the VAGUE promises of hiring 1,000 RCMP & 1,000 CBSA officers! This is what, the 8th time we’ve heard the same recycled line? 🤦♀️
Noticeably ABSENT from today’s “announcement”:
👉 Which community gets shorted when RCMP pulls 20 officers for this steal-from-Peter-to-pay-Paul redeployment? Contract policing doesn’t magically refill!
👉 ANY concrete border security action from CBSA’s O’Gorman. Zero deliverables.
👉 A real plan to EXPEDITE deportation of non-citizens charged/convicted of extortion, firearms offences, or gang crimes.
👉 Measures to crack down on fraudulent refugee claims exploiting the system.
Canadians are DONE with performative photo ops, “active listening sessions,” and meetings about future meetings! 🇨🇦
We want ACTION, not more word salads 🥗 and vague “up to” commitments while crime runs rampant.
Tighten the borders.
Screen properly.
Deport criminals.
NOW.
Ok, I’ll admit I was somewhat concerned back in June when the Public Safety Minister appeared to be completely unfamiliar with the CFSC as mandatory training for obtaining a PAL.
But he was new in the role and I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
But to be community noted on a firearm that has been prohibited since 1977? 🤯
One might reasonably expect a baseline of expertise for such a critical position.
A minister who seems to be “winging it” on public safety issues is not what Canadians need right now.
Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy GO IN on the Ravens not playing Derrick Henry
Dungy: “If Steph Curry just hit 6 threes in a row, you don’t take him out”
Harrison: “If I’m coach Harbaugh and I got Derrick Henry, what are you saving him for? Next year?”
On the campaign trail, working hard to turn Nepean blue and make our common sense Conservative leader, Pierre Poilievre, the next Prime Minister of Canada. In the last couple of days, we’ve received hundreds of new lawn sign requests—the community response is incredible. Let’s bring this home and put Canada First! 🇨🇦
