Investigate the "SMART" meters. In the US & across the world these meters are "calculating" kwh incorrectly... anywhere from 50% to 600% higher bills on top of state mandates & NYSDPS approved rate hikes.

Have you researched what NYS & NYC does to it's budget?

They pass it then use "unforeseen necessity" to strip funds from one allocation to supplement another(sometimes an emergency issue🤔)that needs "extra funding"

SMART meters aren't SMART "reading' modern appliances, stand by electrical components (including anything you use a remote for)TVs, steaming, lights, Alexa...data is "dirty" not bill ready...
