@_JohnnyThomas@DaleJr None of the big series race at local tracks anymore. The last ones were Mansfield, Knoxville and Eldora. Every track now is a purpose built professional racing facility that only races a handful (if that) times a year.
Boss: You were 20 minutes late today.
Employee: I stayed two hours late yesterday to finish that report you needed.
Boss: I appreciate that, but rules are rules.
The next day, the employee showed up at exactly 8:00 a.m. Not 7:55, not 7:59. Right on the dot.
And at 5:00 p.m.? The employee shut down his laptop mid-task, mid-sentence if he had to, and walked out.
No more staying late. No more going the extra mile. No more treating the job like something more than a paycheck.
The boss had made the message clear.
.@NASCAR's sponsorship sales team has been making a concerted effort in recent months to ensure that any new company also does a team deal, per people familiar, although in this case Kubota was already in the sport and wanted to add a league element. https://t.co/4LIdBWMlLM
@RossCrashtain Why is the transponder not mounted on the dash in a designated position? Why so far back on the car, and its every racing series it seems that mounts them on the rear axle.
@JLRobertson264@bobpockrass Not anything firm yet. They cojld downsize to two cars. Brad K could retire opening up the #6 for Preece. Other charters might be available for purchase: Hyak #47, FRM 3rd entry (#4), Haas #41 or something off the wall like a Kaulig charter. The #51 could go away altogether
@GarageGuyChase Imagine if Penske and Roush each had 2 OReilly Series cars. And if Legacy MC fielded a car for Toyota.
What I'd really like to see is more involvement in ARCA from Cup teams like Roush, Legacy and Trackhouse.
@RobergRacing I thought they were buying one of the RWR charters and Legacy was buying the other.
Worst case they buy the third FRM charter if they want to cut back to two cars.
@CouchRacerShop This is not a bad thing especially early in the year. It keeps both the driver and the team a little on edge where they hopefully step up to a new level. Nobody wants to have a bad season in a contract year. It doesn't look good for potential hiring situations
.@Apple is releasing more info on ways to watch @F1 this year, including alt casts on @Tubi for multiple races, live streaming of practice sessions and qualifying on @YahooSports platforms and working with EverPass to make the Grand Prix events available in bars and restaurants.
@Lionel_Racing@dennyhamlin will there be a Michigan win autograph 1/24 version available? Denny made such an impact on my nephew and I that day that we became fans after years of booing.
