Here is an awesome article about my latest research paper, Resting disparity in quoll semelparity. This article covers my experience in the field and what it was like working with these feisty marsupuals.

Blessed to have a 2nd publication from my PhD (chapter 3). This is an incredible study, using accelerometers to explore behaviors of cryptic animals. We show that males just don't seem to be resting during their breeding season which could lead to symptoms resulting in death.
My first chapter from my PhD, so excited for it to get published!! An interesting perspective on relationships between invasive and native species. We examined timelines, diets, occurrence and top speeds to identify key relationships. @usceduau
Invasion vs extinction timelines in #australianfauna. But not all species went extinct! Our paper in #CSIRO's Aust. J. Zoology tries to build up pairs of invasive predators vs native prey, to figure out what makes prey venerable. @ResearchUSC_AU@JGaschk https://t.co/UVNTO3JmGH
What limits turning ability with size? We put 20 dogs through their paces, showing medium sized dogs were the best at turning. Long forelimbs and short hindlimbs help too. Thanks to #ADCQ@TinaHaagensen@JojoMimic@JGaschk@J_Exp_Biol
