@LNER what is happening with the 20.03 service from Kings Cross? The announcements on the train say one thing and the app says something totally different
@LNER We got an announcers saying we’d be leaving at 9pm and something mumbled about the calling point between here and Edinburgh. Nothing updated on the app. It would be kinda helpful to know what’s happening
Outstanding from @O2 - promising 24/7/365 service if your phone gets pinched, then telling you to call back in the morning when it actually does.
Sorry it happened at such an inconvenient time for you
I had a lovely chat with the nice people at the @metoffice about how difficult it is to forecast snow ⛄️

BBC, 19 August: "The violence was started by false online rumours that the suspect in the Southport attack was a Muslim."
BBC, 29 October: "[He] has been charged with producing the poison ricin and possessing a military study of an al-Qaeda training manual."
Verify that.

The combination of excellent local connectivity (metro), long history, beautiful architecture, diverse industrial past, excellent higher education, dense urbanism, suburbia, countryside, and coast that makes Newcastle such an economic powerhouse. [Ed: check stats on this].
Oh what's that, politics guy who lives in London . . . you said Walz gave a great speech but RFK might tank the Wisconsin numbers?
Huh interesting - quick question: who's the current Taoiseach?
My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.
The biggest golf tournament in the country. An Irishman leading, two Englishmen joint second, loads of big names embarrassed - and the @BBCSport liveblog is just empty…
