@StephenKing@JaneCaro I’m by no means a fan of Trump. That said, for perspective on worst president discussions we may need to start here: https://t.co/u34cdIWKYs
@jk_rowling I am beyond disappointed to see you living in an echo chamber where you disregard any dissenters and are not challenged on the idea that you’ve just placed all trans people in a box with “violent, duplicitous, rapists” when this is both obviously and probably false.
@Melancolombia@andrewhunterm From a botanical perspective there is no such thing as a vegetable. Vegetables are a culinary/social construct. So they’re kind of right.
@RogersHistory@JaneCaro In 23+ years of education from both sides (yes including years as a student) 0% of the times a student has asked to leave the room has there been a legitimate reason to refuse them. Who cares if some kids want a break? Let them. #NaturalConsequences#HarmMinimisation
@KTG_1990@RogersHistory This is a false dichotomy/wilful mischaracterisation. It is entirely plausible that a teenager has a reason other than “can’t plan” to need to leave the room. The potential harm of not allowing them to leave the room exceeds the potential harm of allowing them to leave.
The best advertisement for #Pathfinder and @paizo and their love for fans has been @Wizards_DnD and @Hasbro openly admitting they don’t want people to make stuff for DnD via the #OGL revision. #DnDBegone time for a new era in TTRPGs.
They have a point. Suggesting that “certain types shouldn’t reproduce”, even if tongue in cheek, is eugenics rhetoric. COVID denialism is a choice, but you’re othering and then policing peoples reproduction. The sentiment is important even if you’re not enacting the mechanism.
