🇷🇺‼️ Russian nationalist journalist and imperialist commentator Maksim Kalashnikov has issued a stark warning about Russia’s deteriorating economic situation, claiming that Moscow is approaching a state of emergency and may be unable to finance further military escalation.

Kalashnikov interpreted Vladimir Putin’s statements about renewed trilateral peace negotiations involving Russia, Ukraine and the United States as a sign of serious domestic difficulties.

“The budget is in bad shape. We are seeing such severe declines across 11 sectors that talking about any escalation toward the Baltic states or mobilizing reservists is completely pointless. There is simply no money for it,” he wrote.

“We could end up facing an economic collapse. We are on the brink of a state of emergency.”

🔥 What makes Kalashnikov’s warning notable is that it comes from a Russian imperialist commentator rather than a Kremlin opponent advocating an end to the invasion.

His assessment suggests concern within Russia’s own nationalist circles that the economic cost of the war is restricting Moscow’s ability to sustain existing operations, mobilize additional manpower or contemplate further military confrontation with European countries.

His claims about an approaching economic collapse remain an assessment, not an established outcome. Nevertheless, prolonged military expenditure, budgetary pressure and weakness in civilian industries could increasingly constrain the Kremlin’s strategic options.

PALESTINIAN SHOOTING TERROR ATTACK NEAR HEBRON: WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

• Location: Judea Junction, near Hebron, along Route 35 in Judea and Samaria.

• Attack: Around 7:30 a.m., 2 Palestinian gunmen opened fire on an IDF checkpoint. A firefight lasting more than 20 minutes followed.

• Casualties: 5 Israelis wounded, including 2 critically, 1 moderately and 2 lightly.

• Terrorists: Both attackers, identified as 27-year-old Palestinians from Hebron, were ELIMINATED by IDF troops.

• Weapons: Assault rifle, pistol and large quantities of ammunition recovered.

• Intelligence: The IDF assesses the terrorists originally intended to carry out a MASS CASUALTY attack against Israeli civilians traveling along Route 35, but encountered the military checkpoint.

• Security Response: Hebron placed under military cordon, roads blocked and searches launched for possible accomplices.

• Netanyahu: Ordered preparations for a wider closure across Judea and Samaria following an emergency security assessment.

• Investigation: Israeli security agencies are examining possible Hamas connections and whether the attackers received outside assistance.

The attack comes just 4 days before Israel’s October 27 elections, with security forces already on heightened alert.

Earthquake watch M6.8+ is in effect for the Peru-Chile subduction zone and the South-East Pacific Rise based on it being located close to the antipode of the recent magnitude 7.0 earthquake which struck Tibet (red circle, blue diamond). The time window for this is ~2 months, but it's likely to be much sooner than that (<1 month).

It's most likely to align with a gravitational peak (New Moon, Full Moon) and/or significant space weather event. The next Full Moon is on October 26th just two days after the Inferior Conjunction of Venus (Sun-Venus-Earth alignment). The next week is the most critical period.

Because we're talking about the subduction zone home to the strongest earthquakes possible (M9.5+), and considering the recent M7.0+ EQ activity to the north (M7.2 and M7.5 Venezuela, M7.3 Mexico, M7.4 Colombia, M7.7 Panama) I think a magnitude 7.3+ earthquake is actually more likely for Peru/Chile than the lower range of M6.8-7.3. For the SEPR the range is more like M6.5 to M7.1. There hasn't been a magnitude 7.0+ EQ for this part of South America in 2+ years so it's also overdue.
