@StevenMcinerney City fans seem to be forgetting about Kalvin Phillips too. We all know how common it is for Pep’s signings to struggle for a year before blossoming. Phillips really has a lot of quality. He showed it for Leeds and then became a monster in a different role for England in the Euros

Instead, look at astute recruits from teams like Brighton, Brentford, and Liverpool. Many great finds from teams much worse than Everton
