Dear Kenyans, can we make this video trend so that every Kenyan, who is eligible to vote must watch it and must ensure they vote come 2027. We need to vote in new people. Even if they will steal, they will be new and we can remove them.
@makaumutua@KoinangeJeff@WilliamsRuto You said nastier things about kasongo than any person I know, you even wrote a column on Sunday Nation for the world to see.
What is shocking is a propesa who cannot stand with his principles, who probably has none.
Kenya's government plans to use more than Sh1 trillion held by SACCOs to help finance major development projects through the National Infrastructure Fund.
The move is set to be backed by the new Cooperatives Bill.
The signs of a sovereign odious debt default are now very clear, even for those who have no brains, because a government that has borrowed everywhere, taxed everything, sold public assets, squeezed workers through deductions and now wants SACCO savings is no longer looking for development money, it is looking for survival money.
Banks built a comfortable debt circle with government, where lending to the state became easier, safer and more rewarding than taking risks with SMEs, traders, farmers, contractors, manufacturers and ordinary Kenyans trying to keep their biasharas alive.
That relationship slowly choked the real economy, because banks preferred government paper, Treasury kept borrowing, SMEs were starved of credit, small borrowers were punished, and Kenyans who could no longer breathe inside the banking system ran back to SACCOs.
SACCOs became the last refuge for people abandoned by banks, the place where teachers, police officers, nurses, boda riders, matatu people, farmers, mama mbogas and small traders could still save slowly, borrow with dignity and keep families moving.
Now the same government that helped banks turn debt into a feeding system is following Kenyans into SACCOs, looking at the savings people built from salaries, farming, biashara, side hustles and painful monthly deductions.
This is the last nail.
SACCO money is not idle Treasury money waiting to be touched, it is private sacrifice by ordinary Kenyans who saved for school fees, land, homes, hospital bills, emergencies, small businesses and survival in an economy already squeezed by taxes, loans and bad policy.
A government that cannot explain where borrowed billions went cannot be trusted with SACCO billions, especially when the same infrastructure language has already been used for years to hide wastage, inflated contracts, brokers, political friends and budget games.
This is how a country tells you quietly that lenders are tired, banks are already overfed on government debt, taxes are no longer enough, public assets have been lined up, and the last pool of money outside Treasury’s direct hands is now being targeted.
The money is finished, and now they are following Kenyans into the last safe corner they had left.
By the time Ruto is done with SACCOs, hundreds of thousands of Kenyans watakuwa wanajinyonga because their savings from hard wok will be gone.
Already, there are reports of retirees who are not getting their pensions because their money has been sunk into the Ruto’s petty cash kitty he called Infrastructure Fund.
@jimNjue_ Ati the guy has talked to the owner of AI. This guy is mental. He has launched water taps, pit latrines, cow sheds, bumps on the road and idiots clapped their hands out. Now he's talked to the owner of AI. We will see things.
Gloria Orwoba once said Ruto randomly gets restless while in his office and orders his aides to look for something they can go out and launch ndio apate chance ya kuonekana na crowd na kutukana opposition. Normally they go to the nearest affordable housing site but now it seems they got bored with Affordable Housing after launching all of them at least 5 times each. Now he has to launch a few meters long overpriced flyovers.
Ndindi Nyoro is one of the most hypocritical figures in Kenyan politics!! The only reason this statement exists is because Kenyans saw right past the BS.
What we are witnessing here is HYPOCRISY and STUPIDITY of the highest order. You cannot spend years cultivating the image of an alternative voice, positioning yourself as the intellectual conscience of government, then disappear when the moment of accountability arrives.
And then return with a carefully crafted statement about humility, patriotism and service.
We are being asked to believe that there was something more important than one of the most consequential votes affecting the lives of millions of Kenyans. There wasn’t.
Nothing was more important than that vote.
Absolutely nothing. Kwenda uko🚶🏿♀️WANTAM!!
🚨 There’s a SACCO bill in Parliament today, and most Kenyans don’t even know what’s coming.
Quietly... with almost no public attention…
A system is being introduced that will centralize SACCO money, and Govt will now have a massive say in it.
Think of it as a “Super SACCO” for all SACCOs.
It will:
- Hold funds from different SACCOs
- Manage liquidity
- Run payments
- Lend to SACCOs
- Invest your money
Sounds safe? Here’s the reality:
❗ SACCOs could lose some operational independence
❗ Oversight becomes much heavier (via Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority)
❗ Leaders must meet “fit & proper” approval
❗ Strict reporting & constant supervision
And yes, this could mean slower access to your money in some situations.
Now the part they won’t emphasize:
Your savings are only protected up to KSh 100,000
If a SACCO collapses?
Anything above that = your risk.
Even worse:
⚠️ Payouts are NOT immediate
⚠️ Must be approved & gazetted first
⚠️ You could wait while your money is locked
So ask yourself:
Why centralize SACCO money...
But limit protection for members?
This bill is being sold as “safety.”
But it also introduces control by the government, delays, and new risks for ordinary Kenyans.
This is how systems change,
slowly, quietly... then permanently
Something deeper is at play in the issuance of passports to characters like Hamdan and Chivayo amongst others. Regional and global geopolitical plays that are this brazen are now ordinary in a world of fortress capitalism. Any response has to be driven by Kenyans. We are our own saviours.
Kenya is currently in discussions with the World Bank and International Finance Corporation for $11 Billion Loan/Investment for National Infrastructure Fund.
While here at home, they are telling us that the National Infrastructure Fund will be financed by sale of State Corporations.
This is deliberate destruction and plunder of our country.
God forbids, if Ruto kills his way to the Presidency in 2027, we will lose our country for good.
Never again in our lifetime will our participation in any election as important as in 2027.
Future generations of Kenyans will never forgive us if we let Ruto and his administration back to office.
2027 is an existential election and as patriotic citizens, we must rise up to save our country from total extinction.
The greatest patriotic duty of any Kenyan in 2027 is to make sure Ruto and his government goes home.
For the love of country, we ask and plead even with those currently in Ruto’s payroll or those who defend this government because Ruto is from their tribe, that Kenya needs you.
Join the rest of us and save this nation.
@AokoOtieno_ Wueh.. tena in full glare of the public. The prosecution should call for the Justice to recuse himself. If we had these laws, we would have no cause for worry. Will we ever get here?🤷🏾♂️
Gavel and Gun
The judge and the killer share a toast,
Old friends laughing over lamb roast.
One held a sign, the other a gun —
Now silence has swallowed the voice of the young.
Justice wears robes, but dines with sin,
A verdict whispered with a guilty grin.
The one who shot walks free, unfazed,
While truth lies buried, unheard, unpraised.
So tell me, what’s law — and who does it serve,
When killers get smiles they don’t deserve?
