The GCC Conclave on Innovation 2026, jointly organized by STPI, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, convened key stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and the innovation ecosystem to deliberate on strengthening India's innovation-led growth journey.

The conclave witnessed insightful discussions on nurturing grassroots innovation through Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs), accelerating startup growth through AICs, leveraging industrial accelerators to drive innovation at scale, and fostering industry-led innovation through collaborative accelerator platforms. The event also highlighted emerging opportunities for GCCs to contribute towards mentoring, innovation pilots, market access, and ecosystem development.

With thought-provoking exchanges and meaningful networking, the conclave reinforced the importance of collaborative action in building a future-ready innovation ecosystem and advancing India's aspirations as a global innovation hub.

Highlighting STPI’s significant contribution to the growth of India’s IT industry, he noted “Software Technology Park of India has played a very important role in building India’s IT industry. A few years ago, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, a decision was taken to expand STPI centres to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Today, STPI centres are operational in Patna, as well as in Bhagalpur and Darbhanga in Bihar."
