I’m76. FSD drives me everywhere I go. It is a lifesaver for older drivers. This little one time mistake is a feeble attempt to attack a man who has inve ted an incredible new technology which will soon takeover how people drive and save 1000s of lives over time. We need the speed change wheel back. Specifically construction zones. Have to get out of FSD to slow down. Just took a 1600 mile trip on FSD. Many map speeds not matching signed speed. Need the wheel. FSD thought Oklahoma dirt roads speed was 55. Need the wheel.
New object avoidance does great, but avoids many things not needed. Quick swerve at 80 wakes you up!

Could someone get a poll going from Tesla FSD users on adding back the speed adjust thumbwheel. It is need badly. I use it all the time.

Wrong map speed limits.
Example: driving from Starbase to South Padre on 48 fsd thought the speed limit was 45 for over 20 miles. It was 65.
I’m older but I sometimes think FSD follows too close for traffic or conditions. I usually just back off speed a few mph.
Construction zones. It looks like you will have to disable FSD now if it thinks 70 but signs say 35.
Seems like a very bad regression to me.

Been driving it for 6 months. 1000s of miles. Had maybe 3 interventions that could have been dangerous. Intervened no problem. Took my gas car on 4000 mile vacation for 3 weeks. Holy crap! Had probably 10 close calls in 4000 miles and I was worn out most the time. I definitely prefer FSD while I am just supervising.

I believe that this can be dangerous. As in Clinton vs Bush election, when Perot joined the election. Most voters who preferred Perot’s approach would have preferred Bush in a 2 way contest.
Perots entrance to the contest split votes for Bush allowing Clinton to win.
This 3 way contest has the result of promoting the least supported option.
Elon. Please don’t be a Perot.

Example: Assume last election Had Elon, Trump and Harris running for President.
Trump and Elon would have split similar thinking voters and Kamala would now be President. A result neither Trump or Elon supporters wanted.

At 76 I love FSD. So relaxing to click on and let the car drive itself. Specially in Houston gridlock, no tenseness at all when the car is handling all the bs.
All seniors should have FSD. So relaxing, so safe.
Got in one situation where I wasn’t sure how to get home from my location. Clicked Navigate then Home and then GO. So nice.
